Isaiah 40:29

If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!

Luke 11:13

Giving

Give to others, and God will give to you. Indeed, you will receive a full measure, a generous helping, poured into your hands—all that you can hold. The measure you use for others is the one that God will use for you.”

Luke 6:38

You should each give, then, as you have decided, not with regret or out of a sense of duty; for God loves the one who gives gladly.

Matthew 6:3-4

Suppose there are brothers or sisters who need clothes and don’t have enough to eat. What good is there in your saying to them, “God bless you! Keep warm and eat well!”—if you don’t give them the necessities of life? So it is with faith: if it is alone and includes no actions, then it is dead.

James 2:15-17

Command those who are rich in the things of this life not to be proud, but to place their hope, not in such an uncertain thing as riches, but in God, who generously gives us everything for our enjoyment. Command them to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share with others.

1 Timothy 6:17-18

But don’t forget to help others and to share your possessions with them. This too is like offering a sacrifice that pleases God.

Hebrews 13:16

You should be happy to give the poor what they need, because then the LORD will make you successful in everything you do.

Grace

Out of the fullness of his grace he has blessed us all, giving us one blessing after another. (John 1:16)

For God has revealed his grace for the salvation of all people. (Titus 2:11)Let us praise God for his glorious grace, for the free gift he gave us in his dear Son! (Ephesians 1:6)But by the free gift of God’s grace all are put right with him through Christ Jesus, who sets them free (Romans 3:24)For it is by God’s grace that you have been saved through faith. It is not the result of your own efforts, but God’s gift, so that no one can boast about it. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

We believe and are saved by the grace of the Lord Jesus, just as they are. (Acts 15:11)

Let us have confidence, then, and approach God’s throne, where there is grace. There we will receive mercy and find grace to help us just when we need it. (Hebrews 4:16)
As for you, my son, be strong through the grace that is ours in union with Christ Jesus. (2 Timothy 2:1)

But the grace that God gives is even stronger. As the scripture says, “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” (James 4:6)

May the grace of the Lord Jesus be with everyone. (Revelation 22:21)

Guilt

1. “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved” (John 3:17). It’s not God’s purpose to condemn you; it’s His desire to take away your sins, to keep you from sin, and to save you through Jesus Christ.

2. “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him” (2 Corinthians 5:21). Jesus not only died for your sins, He took your sins upon Himself so He could give you His righteousness—His right standing with God.

3. “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace” (Ephesians 1:7). Through the sacrificial death of Christ, you are given forgiveness and salvation as a free gift.

4. “ ‘Come now, and let us reason together,’ ” says the Lord, ‘Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool’ ” (Isaiah 1:18). God invites you to talk it over with Him, and He promises an outcome of great relief for you!

5. “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9). All you need to do is tell God where you went wrong, that you are sorry, and He will take care of everything else and wash it away—transforming you into a new creature.

6. “For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more” (Hebrews 8:12). In His great mercy, God erases your sin from His memory!

7. “As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us” (Psalm 103:12). It gives you a wonderful feeling of freedom to be separated from your sins and joined with God.

8. “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit” (Romans 8:1). If you follow Jesus and stay true to Him, you don’t have to worry about the judgment; your guilt is a thing of the past.

9. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17). In addition to cleansing away all of your sins through the blood of the Lamb, God gives you a brand-new life—a new heart that will help keep you from sinning again.
